(Legal / Privacy)(How we handle your information)

Your privacy,
handled with
care

This page explains what we collect when you visit our site or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language so it is easy to read.

(01 — What we collect)

The information you share with us

When you fill out our contact form, you choose to give us your name, email address, and phone number. You can also add an optional project address and details about the work you are planning. That is the only information you actively send us.

You do not need to create an account or log in to use this site. We do not ask you for a password, and we never collect payment information through the website.

Your form submission is delivered to our team by email through a service called Resend, which handles the message delivery for us. We read it, and we reply to talk about your project.

We only ask for what we need to have a useful first conversation.

(02 — Analytics, cookies, and recording)

How the site is measured

  • a

    Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how people find and use our site. These tools may set cookies and collect things like the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use, and a general idea of your location based on your internet connection. We use this to see what is working and what is not.

You can turn off or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

  • b

    Session recording and heatmaps

We use a tool that records anonymized on-site interactions, such as mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and which sections people read. This is shown back to us as heatmaps and playback so we can see where the site is confusing and improve it. The recording is anonymized and is meant to study the page, not to identify you personally.

We do not try to capture sensitive information you type into the contact form.

(03 — Third parties)

Services we rely on

A few trusted outside companies help us run the site and reach you. These include Resend for email delivery, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for measurement, and our session recording and heatmap provider.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles data. We share information with them only so they can perform the service we hired them for. We do not sell your personal information.

(04 — How we use it)

Why we use your information

We use the details you send through the contact form to respond to your inquiry, answer your questions, and talk through your project. That is the main reason we ask for your contact information.

We use analytics and session-recording data to understand how the site is used and to make it clearer, faster, and more helpful. We do not use this data to make decisions about you as an individual.

(05 — Retention)

How long we keep it

We keep the messages you send us for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business records. Analytics and session-recording data are kept for a limited time, based on each provider's standard settings, and then removed or anonymized.

If you would like us to delete the information you sent us, just ask and we will take care of it.

(06 — Your choices and rights)

The control you have

  • a

    General choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, and you are always free to contact us through email or phone instead of the form.

  • b

    California residents

If you live in California, the CCPA and CalOPPA give you extra rights. You can ask what personal information we have collected about you, ask us to delete it, and know that we do not sell it. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

  • c

    Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no shared industry standard for how to respond to it, so our site does not currently change its behavior based on that signal. You can still limit tracking through your browser and cookie settings.
